SABLE Editorial, Photo and Web Journalism E-Internships

Interested in an Internship with SABLE LitMag?

Our internship period is usually for a minimum of 3 months. We have a virtual office, so our internships are virtual too. (So you never have to make coffee for other staff members in the office!) All you need is a computer or laptop with regular internet access. Depending on your internship placement, you may be required to get off the computer and meet people! If this is the case we will re-imburse the cost of travel and calls. We encourage and welcome applications from prospective interns in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, South America and from the less abled communities. If you are still interested, this is what we need you to do:

  1. Send us an up to date CV
  2. Send us a 100 word bio
  3. Send us  a cover letter (no more than 1 page) telling us which internship you are applying for and why; what you can offer us and what you would like to gain from it; where you see yourself in 5 years time.
  4. Send  your details as 3 attachments in one email to: Kadijattu@sablelitmag.org
  5. Please put ‘Internship’ and the one that you are applying for, in the subject line

Before you apply, if you have any questions, please feel free to email and ask.

We are open to building relationships with institutions on internship programmes and courses and already have specific intern partnership programmes with :

The University of Leicester (UK)

Edgar Mevers College (US)

In addition to the advertised opportunities we can also craft internships on marketing, publicity and event management. If you are interested in taking up an internship in any of these areas, please contacts us to discuss further
